This is one of the easiest recipes I have in my recipe box.
There's only 5 ingredients!
Mix mushroom soup and cream corn in a large pot. Add 1 1/2 cups
of milk. (You can add more later if you want it less thick)
Dice potatoes and throw them into the pot.
I let the chowder cook about an hour. I dice my ham and
add it the last 20 minutes. That's it!
I debated about whether or not to add the picture. But then I thought...
you have to add the picture! One of these days I'll work on my
photography skills! The chowder doesn't look all that great...but
trust me...it really is a yummy soup that's so quick and easy!
And quick and easy is exactly what I plan to do this
holiday season!

I love chowder type soups...who knew this one was so easy!! YUM!
Kerri this recipe looks right up Dave's ally. He is a huge corn chowder fan. He makes it a lot during the winter for lunches during the week, I will pass your version along.
Enjoy the night,
Cindy
btw...Triple D is Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on Food TV. I live with a pretty big foodie!!:) I on the other had would much rather be watching House Hunters!
Yum! I really like to make chowders. I love how easy this one is.
oh yummy~! I have a chicken potato chowder I am itching to try... soon... very soon! ;) winter comfort food... tis the season!
I will definitely be making this. It looks so yummy and just perfect for this cold weather. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
ps. yes, you better keep a list of places you want to visit when you come to Texas! :) I will do the same for when I come see you. One day! One day!!! And thank you for the compliments on my photos....that warms my heart and makes me smile!
what a great meal for those nights when I am on the run . ..so easy!
I was thinking recently we should do a soup linky. . .it would be fun to see everyone's favorite soup receipe. Love that it is soup weather again!
Okay seriously...I have every one of those ingredients in my pantry right now. Should I? I think so!!!
Funny...cause I don't normally buy ham and I have that too.
If the kids don't like it...they can have cereal.
Thanks so much!
Enjoy your day.
Do you remember the little smoothie book you made once with the tiny photo album? I think I might make one with soup recipes to give my girlfriends for Christmas.
Yum! One of my favorites...I'm trying this recipe, it looks easy. Easy is always good.
I love soup and my hubby loves cream of mushroom, definitely taking this recipe. Thanks for sharing.
Hi! The soup is on over here! I wasn't sure how many potatoes to put in, but it is smelling good!!!!
My camera is super easy to use. I've only had it 2 days and I've used mostly automatic settings. I would love to take a class when things slow down...for now I'm just searching Mommy/photographers blogs...you know the ones...and getting tips and info there!
I hope to be showing off some pictures soon.
Thanks again for the recipe. I can't wait til dinner!
Emily ate 2 bowls. She loves Baked potatoes so I thought she would like it. Jonathan ate 1/2 of his....but he is the pickiest. Zac thought the ham was bacon for some reason so he ate most of his too. I made a salad and crescent rolls to go with it.
There is just a tiny bit leftover. I'll eat it for lunch tomorrow!
We will have it again, for sure!
Good night!
That looks so yummy!!
