The Cutest Party Mix I've Ever Seen!

When I saw this the other day on one of my favorite baking blogs Cookies and Cups,  I just knew I had to try it!  I actually had trouble falling asleep that night because I was so excited to get the stuff to make it.  I know...get a life, right?!

You can read how to make the mix if you want at Cookies and Cups.  I couldn't find the little balls for the brim of Santa's hat, so I just dipped them in white chocolate.  The hats are caramel bugels dipped in red chocolate.

Here's how mine turned out.  Not as nice as Cookies and Cups...but they're the experts!

I made some for Santa too!

We're busy over here...getting the last little bit done.
Still no snow...but I hear there's a chance for us on Christmas Eve!
Two more day until Christmas!
We're EXCITED!

I can always count on you, kerri, for the cutest ideas ever ... the filled gingerbread man hostess/teacher gifts from the other day, the reindeer dust, the "thankful turkey" teacher gifts, where does your genius ever end?! It's the cutest party mix ever!!

Merry Christmas!

I think yours looks better! I can't believe how much work that looks like, though! Too bad they don't make red/white candy corns. That's what i thought the hats were made out of.

Oh yummy!! I love salt and sweet!! I dipped pretzels in red and green candy melt... and sprinkled snow (powdered sugar) on them... yummy... the hats are awesome!! next year!! I also made frango fudge and drizzled green candy melts over them... to die for!! I might have to make them again for New Years!! ;) I need to make your truffles still!! ;)
