Back To School....

....and so EXCITED!

Brady woke up this morning and was ready to go!  It sure makes it easier as a mom to send them off to school when they are excited.   No tears from me today either!  I did get a little teary last night as I read the Kissing Hand at bedtime.  We always read that book the night before the first day of school...and I was a little worried that Brady might tell me that he has "outgrown" that story.  But, I was wrong!   He was thrilled that I remembered.   Do you think when he's in middle school he'll still let me read this book to him?!  Please don't answer this, okay!

Daddy snuck in and took a picture!

Oh, I think he'll let you read it in middle school too...just not in front of any friends!

Love that happy first day picture!

Happy First Day...for both of you!!:)
I so love when you can send them off to school with a smile. (I remember the pre-school days when that wasn't always the case!)
Love that story, what a great one for the night before school.
Enjoy the day and your new found "freedom"!
Hmmm, what WILL you do??!!:)

BEST back-to-school photo ever!! Love his enthusiasm ;-)
And, yes, both of my kids (now 9 and 12) still love a good story in bed from time to time, especially old favorites - I actually have an unpublished post about that very subject, so thanks for the reminder! Enjoy the big day!!

Well maybe you didn't get teary but I did, I'm such a sap! He looks so adorable in that jumping picture. What a sweet mommy you are to have his after school treats ready with a little note. That story is a classic, I read it to my kids too and I used to read it when I was a teacher. Many, many parents told me they ran out and got if after the kids would tell them about it. :)

Thanks to the creator for writing the post, it was quite necessary for me and liked it. I wrote a profile on the Fake Snapchat about this. I will be happy if you read it and accept it. Thank you for your concern.
