Happy Campers!

Eric and Brady always have a campout in our backyard once or twice a summer.
This time, they invited friends!  Brady was so excited!  It was a super hot
evening...not sure why anyone would want to have a campfire...but they did.
They had hot dogs on the fire for dinner and later made s'mores.  I only went outside
long enough to snap a few pictures!  I like that camping is their thing and not mine!

What I do enjoy is getting the snacks together for the campout!

It was nice for the kids to each have their own little something...at least they seemed
excited about them.  I just mod podged the paper onto my (Smirnoff Ice!) card board
carriers.  Inside the boxes I put:

* popcorn
*candy
*flashlight
*hand sanitizer
*Stewarts Root Beer
*bubbles
*donuts for morning

Little mini camping journal notebooks would be fun too
for the kids...maybe if you are camping
for more than one evening!

That is a great collage of pictures. What a fun idea! Our backyard would only be big enough for a little tent. We have no yard at all really. I love your goodie boxes too!

Hi! I've been away from my computer for a few days...so let me catch up!
Love love love the header! So cute and colorful! Glad you got it to work out. I had some of the same issues with uploading mine at first, until I worked it out. It really looks great!
Those pickle band aids are hularious ...and my son loves bacon. Wonder what he would think of those mints?
And, of course I love these goodie holders you made...and I love what you chose to put in them too. I would like to get one of those for sure!
Have a great day!

Oh my heck! You are the coolest mom ever. No really, who comes up with awesome stuff like that? You do. You are my idol. I'm calling you up when my kids birthdays come around, I just know you have all the great ideas.

First let me say, I am not a camper either, funny, my kids camp in our yard with daddy. I always have to "stay inside with the baby!" He he he. Second, the goodie holders are so cute. You are such a great mom. Brady must think you hung the moon.

...you make me laugh! I hope you try the garbanzo beans. I don't like them right out of the can, but they are fabulous roasted. I sure wish we lived close. I'd love to hang out with you! :)
