Dollar Yard Sale Chair

I finally finished my chair makeover.
Here's what it cost:

chair- $1.00
fabric - $2.47
spray paint- $3.57
-------------------------------
Total Cost = $7.04

I'm disappointed in the paint color.  I wanted it to match
my desk...but it came out a few shades lighter.
Note to self and everone else..... do a little "test"
before completely finishing a project and then
discovering you used the wrong shade!
Not that it really matters...nothing in that room
really goes together anyway!  We'll see...I
might be getting another can of spray paint!

Here's my next project!

I'm refinishing this vanity and a dresser that my friend
and I got at a yard sale for $20.00...for her little
girl's room.  My girlfriend wants it to be all plain old
white with maybe some pink glass knobs.
I can't imagine this just being white!
We'll have to see about that!
Stay tuned....

Your chair looks wonderful! I wish I had the vision to buy something and redo it. I just don't. I love getting a bargain though. Great deal! Can't wait to see the vanity. I am sure it will look fabulous. :)

Awesome Kerri! I have several items that I have been hoping to find the time to do over. But, it just hasn't happened yet. I love seeing before & afters. They are so inspiring! How long did your project take you?

Love it. So impressed. What if you did a darker rub over the top of the finish, just to make it closer to the desk color?

Very nice!! LOVE how it turned out! I think it's nice that the chair is a lighter color. It stands out instead of blending in! ;)

That turned out GREAT! I am impressed that you spray painted the chair. I find spray painting to be harder than regular painting.

Can't wait to see the desk!
