Summer is my favorite...but my hair would not agree with me! I have bad hair all summer long!
You see, curly hair and humidity do not go well together! And, I'm not talking nice and pretty curly hair....I'm talking frizzy and ratty curly hair! Yep, that's me! I can straighten my hair and then walk down the driveway to get the mail and poof just like that, it's big as a house! I have spent so many summers spending too much time trying to work with my hair. NOT THIS SUMMER! I won't do it! Since turning 40, I feel more comfortable with who I am and more thankful for what God has given me (thick curly hair included). So, this summer I will just let my hair do what it wants and not complain or worry about it! Some new accessories might be fun too! Here's what I'm thinking:
Love this hat...maybe for the beach!
I love this plaid one!
Loving this visor!
A cupcake hat? Ok, maybe not this one!
Found these cute headbands at an etsy store here.
If I had this visor...I might wear it everyday!
My favorite color!
Not sure I could wear this one with all my big hair...but I could try!
CUTE CUTE CUTE!!
And, speaking of HATS........

Loving the "Life is Good" cap and the orange visor. Are you a Clemson fan?
I'm sure you've heard and tried it all, but there are some good antifrizz products out there that are not very costly.
I swear it's a 40 something thing. My hair does the same thing, but we have a very dry heat here in Colorado, hardly any humidity, so I'm safe. I don't have thick or curly hair though, so mine just usually looks stringy and ugly.
Try pulling it back in a pony, or maybe even a hair spritzer might work well.
I think we must have the same hair!!
Great hair in just about every other
season except summer!
Drats!!
I really could use that hat!
Enjoy the day!
I have just the OPPOSITE! Thin straight hair, and when it's humid . FLAAAAAAAAAAAT! It's just an awful sight. Love the cap! I shall enter!
I have the same curly hair problem and I live in Louisiana where the humidity is so bad you can barely breathe in the summer! :) I found a new product (at CVS) made by TIGI called After Party. Put on wet hair, air dry or towel dry. When totally dry use curling iron a few pieces and you are good to go and it works for a few days! Just roll out of bed and add some more of that magic potion! :)
LOVE that first big sun hat.
My hair turns into a bush during the summer. I wear a beat-up straw cowboy hat with a shell band at the beach/pool.
