Whats For Dinner?

Ingredients
1 refrigerated pie crust
1 TBS. butter
1 TBS flour
1 can Progresso Garden Vegetable Soup
2 cups frozen mixed veggies
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves

Directions
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
2.  Remove pie crust from box; set aside.
3. In saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour.  Cook until smooth.
4. Add soup, chicken and thyme.  Stir until mixture is hot and bubbly.
5. Pour into ungreased casserole dish.
6. Top with pie crust.  Cut slits in crust for steam to escape.
7 . Bake 30-35 minutes.

******************************

Pie crust usually comes two in a box...so if you have a big
family, I would make two pot pies.  The three of us didn't
leave too much leftover in the dish after dinner!
I made it even easier, but adding a box of  Perdue shortcut chicken (already cooked).
It took about 5 minutes to put this meal together.
Super easy and really good!

Hope your dinner is yummy!

This is my favorite to make after I make a roast. Clear up all the leftovers, throw them in a 9x13 (remember the size of my family!), cover it with the leftover gravy, top with pie crust, plop in fridge until next morning.

Yum, I love pot pie. I try to make them with our leftover turkey at thanksgiving. This one seems really easy. Love the new banner. So cute.

Pot-pie is so comforting. Not too many more days of needing warm comfort food right, so better make this one quick. I am ready for grilling out and cold dinner salads cause it's so hot out!!:)
Have a happy day
