Too Young To Talk Marriage

Brady has always said that he is going to marry me someday.
I think it's cute.  Eric rolls his eyes whenever
Brady says this...he does not think it's cute.

Then yesterday Brady said that he loves tennis so much...
that he might marry it!  I told him that maybe he will meet
a nice girl someday when he's 25 that loves tennis as much as
he does and then they can play together.
He said, "too bad I'm not 30."  As soon as he said it, he looked
embarrassed and probably wished he hadn't said it.
I said, " who would you marry if you were 30?"
And then he said very quietly...

Maria Sharipova

What the heck?!  What about ME??

I've never even heard him say her name before.
I think I would rather him marry tennis!

He better not change his mind about online college and living with us forever too!

How cute is that!! Well I have to say they do start noticing girls young, but at least they don't know what to do with them till they're 30 - ha ha (Thank Goodness!).

It is soooo sweet when little boys want to marry their moms!

Kerri, I laughed out loud at this one!! That is so darn cute and funny! Us poor Moms....hey as long as they don't have head to toe body piercings and tattoos right?

How funny this is! He will change his mind so many times. This will be funny to show him when he gets engaged.

You crack me up!!! As much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE Boyd, I don't want him to live with me forever. haha. Brady is so sweet. I love his heart. Guess he has a new crush, huh?! Tell him to stick with tennis, Maria is much too old for him. ha.

Well, that's how I met my husband....through tennis!! Your son sounds very cute.

And just like that, you're kicked to the curb. Looks like you better start taking tennis lessons if you want to be back in Brady's circle. Either that or bake him a chocolate cake. I bet Maria can't cook like you.

That is too cute and funny..but I have 4 boys (all grown up now) and I can't ever remember them saying they wanted to marry me..hmmm..now I'm worried. Anyway, it's great to find out that you lived in Mansfield (sunny Mansfield!). Now you know all about what it's like where we are!

Oh yes. Max wanted to marry me...until just a few short months ago. Now he is marrying his friend, Makenzie. BUT, he did inform me that the hubby and I will be building a HUGE home...and he and Makenzie are going to live with us. PLUS, he told her that her parents can move in, too! Oh, yes. He did.

Too cute...I am not gonna like it when mine have a love interest either...no matter who it is. Something about a mom and her boy. Right?
Happy weekend!

OMGoodness! So funny! It would be so interesting to have a little peek in their minds sometimes to see where they get these things! :))

I hate it when they start noticing girls. My oldest just watched some cheerleaders at the basketball game the other day and I didn't think he noticed until the next day when he was talking to a friend. "Those cheerleaders were hot!" What!!! Sigh....Now what?

My boys, too, used to tell the babysitter that they would marry me when they grew up. they were mortified at one of their wedding showers when she recounted that. lol I loved it!
....how soon they forget!!

hehehehehe...I LOVE this! We tell our ballerinas something similar. That they can get married, but they have to live in a tent in our backyard. :)
