Chocolate Oreos and Basketballs

I like to give a little something on St. Patrick's Day
to Brady's teacher.  Most of you know...my favorite
thing to give is something edible.  We've been really busy...so
my treat for Mrs. Everly was a quick and easy one.  I dipped oreos
in chocolate and added clover sprinkles.

To make them look better, take a pairing knife around the
edges after they dry.

I love using clipart to make tags.  I only wish I knew how to
make them printable so that I could share them on my blog.
Maybe someday I will figure that out!

I also made basketball lollipops this afternoon.
Brady's last basketball game is on Saturday and so is his
birthday...so I thought he could pass them out to his team.

I mixed red and orange chocolate together to try and get more
of a basketball color.  At one time I had over 100 molds.  I've gotten
rid of some the last few years...not much time to make candy anymore!

I hope everyone has a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

So cute - I'm totally with you on the printables. I do mine in Word - but there has to be an easy way to save and share? When you figure it out - let me know. His teacher is going to love them - yum

Those look oh so yummy.
Haven't had Oreos in awhile, and dipped in chocolate sounds even better.

What great ideas - I also love to give food as a gift. And of course, I love to get food as a gift! Lucky teacher - and I bet your son felt so good giving her that little gift. Happy St. Patty's Day to you!

Catching up with you . ..
If I taught at Brady's school, I would BEG to be his teacher every year, just so I could get your treats. Yum!
I read that same post by Melissa and did the same trick. Your lights look great.
But my main comment is this: That picture of you and hubby--you are so cute! Love love love your hair.

Kerri, thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I have to say that I really enjoyed your post about the cookies..so creative and what a lucky teacher! Your header is just too cute and also funny! Love the hat! I had to read past posts and I see you are also thrifty, a great decorator and smart too because the paint in the kitchen is the same as mine...and I had to live with it for a bit before deciding that I really do like it! I'm a follower now, so I'm looking forward to more fun posts!

You are the coolest mom EVER! I would have been blown away if a student brought me those yummy treats. For St Patrick's Day. I was lucky if I got a Christmas gift when I taught.

Oh, and that cute scalloped edge on the photo? Just discovered it on a super new easy program called Lo-Fi. It's a download. Not free, but cheap. You can do all kinds of fun things with it. When I discovered that scalloped border I had to buy it. :) I'm a sucker for that kind of thing.
