No Valentine Party For Us

Brady's Valentine's Day party for his classroom was this morning.
I was in charge of planning it.

The kids made these heart bird feeders.

The kids wrote down what they love
about Mrs. Everly...and put the notes in
this box.  I found the fortunate teacher label here.

Brady was going to pass these treats out to his class.

I can't remember where I saw this shovel idea...but I know it wasn't on a blog.

Brady was really sick all night and has been sick all day.
He is such a trooper.  He never complains...he just wants me by his side.
He has told me about twenty times that I am the best mom a sick boy could ever have.
I wish there was something I could do to make him feel better.

We were really disappointed about having to miss his Valentine Party.
I was disappointed for him.  I always worry that the class parties will soon stop.
Eric took all the goodies into Brady's classroom this morning.
Two other room moms came through big time with cupcakes and the
things needed to make the bird feeders.

Brady hasn't left the couch all day...but he is starting
to get some of his color back...and just decided he
might like to watch a little t.v.  Yay!

Happy Valentine's Day to all of YOU!

Hope your is day filled with love...not just today, but everyday.

Those bird feeders are crazy cute! And I love the idea of giving the notes to the teacher, that's something she's sure to treasure. Okay-this is turning into a love fest of a comment, but I have to say I really, really like your valentine idea for Brady too! Super fun ideas!

I'm sad that Brady missed the party! Bummer!! All of the decorations and gifts are so very cute. I really wish you had a little shop to sell your stuff in. I could never put stuff together like you do. :)

I hope Brady is better this morning!

Poor boy. Hope he feels better soon. The shovels are adorable. I may have to steal those for next year! That teacher gift was so great. Hang in there. Spring is on the way.

Darn it! Two things...1. I feel so bad for Brady, I know he wishes he could have participated and 2. I'm stealing that shovel idea for next year. I'll remember to stock up on shovels this summer.
GUESS WHAT?! I just picked up Jack 15 minutes ago from school (that's the 2nd time within a month)because he was throwing up. Ahhhhhhh! Not that, anything but that.

I sure hope I am on top of things like you when I am a mom! I was wondering... Do you always get picked to plan the class parties? Because I know I would want you to do it every time! You have such great ideas. What a lucky class!
