I Prefer Weekends

We didn't venture out much this weekend because of the weather.
Basketball and tennis were cancelled.
Sometimes it's nice to just be home without any plans.
I was able to do some extra cleaning and get caught up on laundry.
Eric and I watched Conviction Friday night.
It's based on a true story.  Oh how I love a good prison movie!!

I made these Peanut Butter Blossom cookies...Valentine style!
You can find the recipe HERE.

Eric removed the carpet in our sunroom...our tile is being
installed this morning...we are pretty excited!
It's a tiny room...but I think the tile will make a
big difference and be easier to clean.

Eric and I made these for the super bowl.
My picture doesn't do them justice.  They were so good!
You can find the recipe HERE.
Next time I will add more hot sauce...we like it HOT!

A dry street means good conditions for tennis (according to Brady).
He only slipped and fell once due to all the salt on the street.
It's a good thing Eric will go out and play with him in the freezing cold...
because I won't!

Have a great week!

Oh goodness we prefer weekends too!
Pretty low key one for us too.
Those cookies look so so yummy!
Dove is my absolute favorite....won't ever by Hershey!! (sorry don't you live near there?!?!):)
New tile sounds very exciting. What are your big "I need a new style" decorating ideas for this space now that you have nice new flooring!:)
Have a happy day!

yum, I just bookmarked both of those recipes - you always have such great ones, kerri, thank you!! And for the record, I agree 100% that low key weekends are the best, i'm a serial nester so low key works just great for me! and about my video ... you should definitely watch once you have your sound back - it's very thought provoking - worth it!

Where do I begin?! :) Those meatballs....oh my. You know I will be making those! :) I should have made a quadruple batch of your dip last night. We love that stuff so much. Those cookies looks so good and I love the Valentine twist you put on them. We love our weekends too, especially ones where not a single plan is on the calendar.

Yay for your new tile! You are going to love it! :)

Oh and I love the picture of Brady playing on the street. I am like you, I'd send Kevin out, but I don't like being out in all of that weather.

Glad you had a fun weekend indoors. Those cookies and meatballs look wonderful!
The snow does look beautiful too.
Glad Brady still got to play tennis!

Conviction huh? We might have to try it. Love that Brady is playing tennis in between the snow. Not something you ever see here. Good for him! (and dad) I'm with you mom!

I live for the weekends too. All your food always looks so yummy. And I have to say that Daddies are so good about playing. We Mommies, a lot of the time, serve a different purpose. That's a lot of snow, by the way. How do you stop yourselves from running through all that un-printed snow. My kids would destroy it in a minute.
