2 pts.

Brady made a basket today in his game!  It was just short of a miracle!
I say this because he usually hides behind several players...in hopes that his teammates do not see him
and pass him the ball!  (At least that's what it appears he's doing).  But this morning,
just before the final buzzer went off...someone passed him the ball.  He actually caught it...and
took a shot...and it went in!  I think we were actually more
excited than he was!   It's been fun to watch Brady play a team sport...unlike tennis, where
you're out on the court all by yourself.   I love to see the boys cheering for one another
and high fiving!  So cute.

Anyone know how I can get a better picture inside the gym with my crappy camera?
When I put it on sports mode...all the pictures are blurry.
Thanks!

Kitchen update:  I finished painting today.   Even though I don't love the color, it's  starting to grow on me a little bit.   We are going to live with it for the time being.   I will try and finish the valances tomorrow and post some pictures in the next couple of days.

Go Brady!! That will just give him more self confidence to get out there and do it again! He is so darn cute!!
Does your camera have a continuous picture mode? I always used that when my daughter was playing basketball and because it goes so fast it would actually get some really good shots. My sports mode is always blurry too.

Can't wait to see your kitchen - I'm sure it turned out beautiful!

Go Brady!! I think pictures are the hardest. The lighting is terrible! After all our basketball I still haven't figured it out.

Brady is so cute! I use the continuous picture thing, too. On my camera, the little picture beside the button looks like pictures are stacked up. You press it, hold the button, and it snaps pics for about 15 seconds or so. Then, I go back and delete the ones I don't want (it takes a lot!).

I can't wait to see kitchen pics!

Congratulations on Brady making the game ending basket!!! I wish I had some good advice for the blurry basketball pictures, but I have a crappy camera, too. I just take lots and lots of pictures in the sports mode and at the end of the night if I have 5 or 6 good ones, I'm happy...

Can't wait to see the kitchen pictures.

aw, that's really great that Brady got a basket - i know that same feeling and I don't know who's happier, the child or the mom!! Sports pics are my worst ... horrible indoor lighting + oversized space + bodies in motion = total disaster!

Yea, Brady!!! Way to go!! I remember when my boys were a bit sports shy too and we would get so excited about goals, baskets etc! the best was when they persevered and found the srt they loved...cross country running. Now one of them is a coach himself...funny how life happens.

Looking forward to seeing all you hard work in the kitchen, Kerri!

My gym pictures are always horrible too. I can't figure it out. I think it is the rotten flourescent lights. (I know I spelled that wrong, sorry) I try to take a whole bunch and I usually get just a couple that are ok, annoying.

Yuck sports pictures are the worst. I hope I figure out my new camera before soccer season rolls around again!
Way to go Brady!
Team sports are important, (even though I never played them once, total band nerd)they bring out a whole other side of a competitor...so Dave tells me anyway!!:)
Have a happy day

Yeah, Brady! I didn't realize he played basketball too. I thought he was on the court 24/7. I think that's great!

Wish I had some suggestions for the gym pictures. Sorry!

Oh, and I didn't bring my camera on the walk of shame. Took that pic w/my cell phone. But I can't say I didn't debate bringing it. hehe...I had to walk too and I didn't want to lug it the whole way. :)
