Just When I Think My Little Boy Is Not So Little Anymore.....

he decides to take DUCKY to school for stuffed animal day!

Not his iguana, moose, frog or karate bear.  He chose DUCKY...the stuffed
animal that he has slept with every night with since he was born.
Such sweet innocence.  I long for him to stay little forever.
But don't worry...I'm fully aware this isn't the case.
(Saying a prayer this morning that no one makes fun of him today at school!)

Have a great day!

That is super cute! Us moms of boys sometimes need those little reminders that our little men are still boys.

So very sweet....
I wish Maddox wanted to sleep with something sweet and cuddly... Instead it is Buzz and Woody who are stickly, noisy, and HAVE to be uncomfortable!! :)

That is very sweet of Brady, and if anyone makes fun of him, I'm driving up there to deal with it! :) ha. No really though, he is such a sweet kid!

Oh no, I was traumatized enough by the kid who didn't thank him for the thoughtful b'day gifts, if he gets teased about Ducky today I might have a breakdown!! I hope you'll follow up so I can rest easy - this is such a sweet story ;-)

Oh, that is so sweet. I loved your last post too about how he is being kind of a stinker. I think something must be in the air. My kiddos are acting the same way!!! It made me feel good to know I wasn't the only one.

Too cute! Yep, I love the age where they are in between being little and big. How sweet that he wants to share something so special to him to his classmates.

Keep him little as long as you can...my little boy turns 16 Saturday. Ugh not so little anymore with the deep voice and towering stature.

I love that my almost 11 year old still sleeps with his Pooh Bear that he has had since he was a baby. I love it!! Those glimpses of childhood. I will never make him get rid of it. Wash it, yes...chuck it, never!

My son Jack sleeps with his teddy bear Max still and he is 10. He even brings it to church with him and carries him around on his shoulders. I don't give a rip what anyone says about that and I hope Jack doesn't either.
Go Brady!

How cute! I love his duckie - i don't blame him for picking that as the favorite stuffed animal :)

True story - I still sleep with a stuffed animal! A little lamb infused with lavender & vanilla, and I swear, I can't sleep without him. I even have a "travel size" mini lamb that I hid in my suitcase and snuck into bed when I went to the beach with my in-laws (i couldn't imagine trying to explain this to my mother in law...). My husband is aware and doesn't make fun of me, because he hugs the body pillow like he's climbing a tree or something :)

I still have my stuffed koala from when I was a baby and can not bring myself to put it away. It is on my closet shelf. I think he will keep his ducky very close by when he is older. Maybe in the top shelf of his closet like me where he can go back to being that little boy again.

This is too cute! My daughter has a duck, "Quack, Quack" that she sleeps with every night and takes pretty much everywhere with her also :) I'm sure the other kids brought the same type of stuffed animals.
