A Year In Review

Seems like just yesterday we were
taking pictures on the first day
of 1st Grade!

So excited to meet new classmates!
(they all look so little!)

So lucky to have a super awesome teacher!
You could just tell that she loved her class!

Was a little hesitant at first but decided to go for it
and played on his first sports team!
He was most excited about his "uniform".

Although he learned to read in kindergarten,
he learned to read with CONFIDENCE
 in 1st grade!

Brady always tried his best and
was one of only a few students in his class
that stayed in the "green zone" the entire year.

Miss Enck said all the girls "enjoy" Brady.
(Hmmmm??)

Brady made a new friend this year- Ryan.

What a great group of kids...I enjoyed getting
to know them all.  I was thrilled to get to help out
and volunteer in the class and to be a room mom.

Last day of school!

A little taller now than back in August!

Brady was a little sad after school ( I guess he's
sentimental like his mom!) so I didn't get the
reaction from him that I was hoping for when
he saw my suprise.

To celebrate the end of 1st grade, and an
OUTSTANDING grade card we let Brady pick
where he wanted to go for dinner.  Of course,
he picked the same family restaurant he chose
on the last day of school last year (he's all
about tradition!).

Seems like we've been counting down forever...
we are now finally ready and excited
 to get this SUMMER started!

Before you know it you'll be packing him off to college. Tucker leaves Thursday, and it seems like he should be this age again.

Smart man that Brady. Already making friends with the girls.
He has the most beautiful eyes and looks like a real sweetheart.
My little first grader looks dainty and sweet too, but is somewhat of a loud brute. She doesn't take any garbage from anyone. I guess that's what being the baby of the family has done for her.

And I just love the little summer surprise you had waiting for him at home. So cute.
Hope you are enjoying your first summer moments.
Enjoy every one......

What a sweet boy. My Zoe cried for two days straight when school was out. So dramatic but I know it was because she loves her teacher and friends. Beautiful cupcakes! ANd cute teacher gift, how nice.

What a darling little boy...yes, sadly time seems to fly :(. I always tell my kids I wish I could stick them in the dryer to "shrink" them because they are growing just way too fast! Enjoy your summer!
