Boo-tiful Little Lights

I saw this idea in Lowe's Creative Ideas magazine.

Here's what you'll need:

Spray paint the base.  Draw the eyes and mouth
with a pencil and fill it in with a marker.

Add a tea light...and there you have it!

My glass shade is a little more curvy than the Lowes one...
but it was only fifty cents at the reuzit shop...so I went with it.
Super cheap and easy...my kind of craft

I suprised Brady with this in his bathroom yesterday after school.
He loved it!

(Thanks for all the comments and encouraging words
regarding my Diet Mountain Dew addiction.
I'm happy to report thatI only had two sodas yesterday...and lots
of water.  I planned my entire day around when I would have
those two drinks!  Anyway, I will look back over your comments
when I need a little reassurance!  Thanks again!)

These are so cute Kerri!!
My girls would have loved to come home to this little ghostly beauty! They are so into decorating for fall and Halloween...if they had their way, the stuff would have been up in August!!
Enjoy the day

I was thinking of you a lot yesterday, how did the day with less Dew go??

Cute! Those glass shades are always in the Re-store for next to nothing. Halloween will be here before we know it!

Good for you on only having 2 sodas! That is GREAT! I knew you could do it.

Those are really cute ghosts! I am going to look for some of those glass shades at a thrift store. Boyd would love those too, I just would have to put them where he can't reach them. :)

Have a good weekend!

Those are so cute and I love that you can put them anywhere because the candle is enclosed. Super idea!

Hi again! Yes, you are missing out girlfriend. Get yourself an electric wax warmer. I got mine at Hobby Lobby with a coupon....do you have those stores there? If not, Walmart probably has them. Mine is ceramic and it plugs in and a small bulb warms up the wax. My entire house smells good. And you are not putting all that stuff in the air from burning a candle, even though I do love candles still. The wax comes in a box of 9 cubes for a few bucks. All it takes is a couple of cubes.....your ENTIRE house will smell great. I'm sold on them! :)
