An Easy Thank You Gift

Most of you know my favorite gift to give is food.  I think this simple basket filled with veggies makes a nice thank you.  Vegetables do not get any cheaper around here than they are in the summer.  I bought cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, hot house tomatoes, jalapenos, carrots, romaine lettuce, red peppers and corn on the cob....all for just under ten dollars.  I already had the basket.
So simple and colorful and healthy.  Who wouldn't love a basket of vegetables?!

I'd love to know what your favorite gift to give is?!

I love food gifts and this one is awesome. I love to give homemade bread too (hot out of the oven, wrapped in a cloth and twine). I get all my great gift ideas from you.

Our neighbors in our old neighborhood used to give us goodies from their garden and I loved it! The other day my next door neighbor came over with green beans from her garden..love that too! I love to give homemade bread and jams. I'm thinking of doing up some homemade hot fudge sauce for gifts soon. Enjoy your weekend!

I love to give food as a gift too! Fresh veggies is such a great idea. I never thought of that. I try to give what I know the person loves, or I go to a unique grocer and get some fun items. I also love to give a bag of coffee or some hot chocolate inside a pretty mug.

Have a good night!

:)

What a wonderful gift that is. I love to give food gifts. One of my favorites to give is a basket of avocados, and then I place some packets of guacamole mix, and a mortar and
pestle dish to serve it in. Fun stuff!!!
