Random Monday Stuff

Today we are having beautiful fall weather...60 degrees and sunny....it's perfect.  I took a spin class this morning at our
rec center.  My friend Michelle just became an instructor a couple of weeks ago.  She has wanted to teach spin for almost two years now...and finally decided to put her fear of teaching in front of others aside and go for it.  She has had a full class of women the last two weeks and is doing such a great job.   So proud of you Michelle!

I had this for breakfast this morning.

I've been on a crazy sugar high for the last two months.  The trick or treat candy finally did me in, and I contacted my friend Angie for some help.  She has always been fit and healthy and works hard to keep herself that way.  I knew she would have a plan to jump start me in the right direction.  She gave me this 3 day plan to get me off the sugar.  I started on Saturday, and today is my last day.  So far, in just two days, I've lost 3.8 lbs. and feel so much better.  Thank you tons Angie!

Brady and Eric tackled our big tall ornamental grasses ( I think that's what they're called!) this weekend.  Brady sure loves to do projects around the house.   These grasses haven't grown evenly the last two years...so we are thinking of digging them out.   They are huge.

Hope everyone has a beautiful week!

The colors in the first photo are so pretty. I love your mug, of course, I would have coffee in mine. :) Way to go on the no sugar thing. We tossed all leftover Halloween candy too. It's amazing how drugged you feel when you have too much of it in your system. Proud of you!

I want to know the 3 day plan too....sugar overload here as well.:)
I took spin classes for years before we were married. I loved them. The music was so motivating and it was such a great workout. Sadly, my treadmill at 4:30 am is not quite cutting it!!!:)
have a happy night kerri

Okay - I MUST have the plan! I feel so SICK from sugar overload but can't bear the thought of the headache I usually get when I come down. Has your head hurt?

Sounds like you are headed in the right direction for sure! I need to check out our rec center when we get home. I have been wanting to try yoga, but am too cheap for a gym membership! Good luck kicking that sugar - let us know the plan!

I love the look on Brady's face while chopping grass. Glee! Also love the picture of him in your header...one one on the left.

And your breakfast looks so yummy -now that's what I want, but I don't have the crackers or cheese!

Glad to hear you are having such nice weather. We are supposed to get two inches of snow today!

Please share the three day plan!

Is that your yard? It is huge!!! And beautiful!
We have ornamental grasses too and never know what to do with them when winter comes.

What a beautiful day!

It sounds like I'm in good company. After being sugar free for almost eight months, having the mini chocolate bars in the house finally got to me. They are finally all gone, so I'm hoping to get back to my sugar free lifestyle. It has been a challenge though.
