Finally!

Yesterday, I said goodbye to my cell phone of 8 years......

(I'm the last person in the state of PA to have one of these flip phones)

It has served me well....and although I will miss the easy-ness of it....

I am so excited to get a new and improved one!  One that has texting, and internet and all
kinds of other stuff that I have no idea how to use yet!

Isn't she pretty?!

And, she's all mine except Brady seems to think she's ours to share......but, no.  Not this time.

Eric tried to suprise me almost 2yrs ago with a new phone...but I returned it.
I wasn't ready for the change.  Now, I'm older and wiser...and want to be cool like the rest of the population.

Text me!  :)

LOL...I joined the world of texting a year or so ago, and love it. It is the way my kids send me little msgs throughout the day, and now my friends do too. We almost never actually CALL anyone anymore! However, I am not sure if I am smart enough for a "smart phone" yet!! You go girl!!

hehe...you are so cool now! I got one last year and can still barely make a phone call with the darn thing. I have no patience to sit down and learn all it can do.

I have a flip phone too and it's about time to retire it...so I may get to be cool, but I sure will hate having to figure all the ins and outs of it! So I'll have to wait just a bit before texting you!

I'm one of the world's last people who has never texted, tweeted, etc...I don't even know how to text.
That's a "cool" phone though.

WOO HOO!! Look at you go!
It is pitiful to admit, but I would be at a complete loss without my high-tech phone!

I would probably be like Kim. . . Or I would send it thru the laundry or drop it in a puddle. . .

She's beautiful. . .good luck keeping Brady away from it!

LOL, oh my Kerri, your old phone! I was really afraid of having a smart phone too, (thought I wasn't smart enough for it) but now I can't believe how often I use it for things. You'll learn it quick! Have fun!

Your new phone is pretty. Now we can text each other?! :)

I didn't get my first cell phone until we moved into this house. Kevin surprised me with it and I honestly didn't even want one. Now I really need one like yours. I am way behind on smart phones, apps, all that fancy stuff. Enjoy it!

Oh you are cracking me up! I had my last phone for 7 years and I felt like such a dork using it. But I really hate to get new things when the old ones work just fine, ya know!? Anyway, glad you got a new toy and I hope you enjoy it.

pretty!! i'm also super low-rent when it comes to phones - i never care, so i always get my husband's hand-me-down phones ... which means I have one generation below 'current' from the apple store ... not too bad for a gal who doesn't care, huh?! seriously, if it weren't for him, i'd have your same old flip phone - as it is, i'm only using my iphone to about 10% of its potential!!

I'm right there with you. My cell phone is probably at least 8 years old. It finally died last year and I called to cancel the service (in hopes of getting a new plan) and they said they would just send me a new (very basic) phone. I took the wimpy way out....kept my basic old cell phone for emergency calling...and use the itouch for games/apps and even free texting (as long as you have wireless). Enjoy your new toy.
