Happy Friday!

Is it Friday already?!   Sorry I haven't been around much!
I only subbed once this week....but can I tell you how much I am loving it!  I just feel really
good and excited on days that I have worked. I love the kids, I love getting dressed up and I love being around other teachers.  Next week I am working two days.

I've been wanting to try these rainbow cupcakes for a year now...and finally got around to making them.
Eric helped me divide and color the cake mix.  It was a little time consuming...but I think Brady's class enjoyed them.

I put this together for Brady's teacher.  I found the idea over
at Eighteen25.  So easy and inexpensive.

Brady's class had an Easter egg hunt out on the 2nd grade playground.

We're very much looking forward to our four day weekend!
Today we have Brady's tennis lesson, haircuts, and shopping for a birthday gift.
Tomorrow we have a birthday party and coloring Easter eggs!
On Sunday we are going over to Grandma and Grandpa's house.
They are looking forward to having Easter dinner in their brand new home.

I wish all of you a Happy Easter!

Kerri, so glad you are enjoying being back at work. Sounds perfect to me, a couple days a week!!! Have a great holiday weekend. Cute idea with the eggs! Also, do I see an Amish buggy in the background of one of the school photos? Where do you live?

Glad you are enjoying working. The cupcakes are so cute. You have so much patience to try those. Looks like the kids had fun at the egg hunt, I don't think kids ever outgrow that excitement. Love the Amish buggy going by too, I hope to see some on our drive to northern Ohio today. Have a happy Easter.

I'm glad you are enjoying your job. That makes me happy. :)

The Cadbury eggs in the carton are so cute. I love that idea. AND your cupcakes look amazing. I love the pictures of them, and I would like to eat about 5 of them, right now.

Happy Easter!

Once again....you give me super great ideas to copy.
My children and I call those Cadbury eggs "Bok Bok eggs". Long story, but they are fabulous.
I always wished I would have gone into teaching instead of nursing. I can work during the year when my kiddos are in school and have the summer off when they have it off. Sounds like a great deal to me.
HEY! Is that an Amish buggy in the background of one of those photos? That is a cool sight if it is.

The rainbow cupcakes were pretty cool and I love how you thought about Brady's teacher. One of my old students brought in one of those giant Reese's eggs...now he's my favorite.
