Little Things

I am convinced that if you want to impress other people women, just make little individual servings.  I don't think it even matters whats in those little containers, as long as everyone has their own.
I put these together for my womens tennis league that I got talked into playing on play on.  The ladies oohhh-ed and ahhhh-ed when they saw my contribution.  I used plastic throw away punch cups and filled them with grapes and strawberries.  That's it.  Easy peasy.
I often make desserts in these little cups too.  For me, it's not just about the presentation....it's about having my own and not having to share!

Have a great day!

Man Alive! You are one cool gal. I seriously love all your ideas and you are most certainly correct on that small, individual serving idea. It's a friends' birthday today and I bought an individual bottle of root beet, a small individual container of vanilla ice cream and a straw and dropped it off at my friends house for his birthday. Wrapped in cello with a cute bow and straw of course. He may be a fella, but I'm a gal and we gals love packaging.

I don't like sharing either, must be because I am an only child. I like these because they are petite and cute. But I agree, individual seems so much more ladylike, not like a big trough for us to dig through.

Well, first they look so fresh and inviting...second, it is great to have your own...third, my Sister says making something seem extra special is so easy..it's all "smoke and mirrors" she says. It's the little things (like you said) that do the trick. My fav saying is: KISS..keep it simple stupid...that's referring to myself!!

Sharing is not my thing. I'm definitely doing this from now on. Great idea!

So cute! There's just something about having your own little bowl, dish or plate!
Have a great week!

ps- so fun to be following along with you on instagram now too! isn't it funny how we can feel like we really do know each other other than just from blogs? :)

Kerri I will have to try this. So much easier to carry around too, instead of on a plate.. Thanks for a simple and effective idea. Book club ladies here I come!

you are so right!! presentation is key... and I think that's why I am always blown away by your creativeness! It is usually some-what simple, but precise and perfect!

I agree, there is something nice about grabbing a cup instead of deciding what portion you want...

oh totally! Give me my OWN! Love that. This may sound really stupid, but I didn't realize you played tennis too. You're so cool!
