A Day At The Pool

We finally made it to the pool!  Brady's friend Colin turned 8
today...and he invited some friends to swim.  I was starting to think that we might not get there this summer.   A certain someone has other things on his agenda.  You wouldn't believe me if I told you how many hours Brady spends playing tennis everyday.  It's kind of embarrassing...and I'm not sure how normal it is.  I'm thinking we might need to get him some counseling or something.  Ok, I'm kidding about that, sort of.   Me, I would be so content to go to the pool everyday, visit with friends, sit in my chair, read a book, and soak in the sun.  Ahhh, now that's my kind of summer!  But, since that isn't happening, I will just enjoy the time we do get to spend at the pool all the more...and that's exactly what I did today.

I heard Brady tell his cousin yesterday that he is having the BEST summer ever.  And that, is all I need to hear!

Have a FUN weekend!

At least he's not bored right? Sounds like he's always up for a good game of tennis! So glad he's having "the best summer ever:)"

Looks like they had the pool all to themselves! Seeing all those boys at the pool with the popsicles reminded me when my 4 boys were little and we would go spend the day at the pool. My hubby would come and join us for lunch in the park, then head back to his office...those are the things you miss when they grow up..enjoy every minute!

I love the pictures! And I love that he already has a passion. We all need one.

We spend lots of time at the pool. Drives me nuts b/c they rarely want to go to the beach! But...don't feel badly b/c we spend many, many hours at the ballet studio also.

And that's what it's all about. That comment from Brady is awesome, although, like you, I would love to hang out at the pool every single day.
That boy is a tennis addict, you might need to get him enrolled in TA (Tennis Anonymous).
"Hi, I'm Brady and I've been tennis free for one day." Just kidding you know.

That is the cutest picture, all those boys. I am so laughing at you saying he needs counseling for his tennis addiction. Zoe has some friends at dance that are the same way, she would be too if I let her. I just feel bad dragging my boys to the studio all the time, believe me if she could dance all day she would. Must be something in their genes. Hope you have a happy fourth, any interesting recipes? ;)

I think it is awesome that Brady plays so much tennis and is NOT playing that much video games - there are definately worse things.
Tennis is great though!!
But I know as a mom you kind of feel like they need to have a variety :-D
Glad you guys made it to the pool, that last picture is so fun!

Good for Brady that he is having such a fun summer. I think it's great he is loving tennis so much...better than TV, or video games. Love the action shot picture of him jumping off the diving board. Have a great 4th, Kerri.
